Objective
1. To reignite the tradition of attaining Islamic knowledge through halaqah and with sanad by studying turath books, i.e treasures of intellectual Islamic scholars over the centuries.
2. To build a knowledgeable, practising and moralistic generation
Medium of Instruction
Classes will be taught in Malay language.
Program Modules
Students will learn the following 4 modules in this 2-year program:
Fiqh
Book: Safinah al-Najah
Safinah al-Najah offers a concise and essential guide to worship, encompassing fundamental insights into purification, prayer, zakat, and fasting.
Akhlaq
Book: Ta’lim al-Muta’allim
Taalim Al-Mutaallim offers a glimpse into the time-honored methods of classical Muslim education, shedding light on the enduring importance of practicing etiquette in today’s world.
Tauhid
Book: Aqidah al-Awam
Aqidah al-Awam offers a concise yet comprehensive immersion into ‘The Creed of the Common Muslim,’ a globally recognised poetic masterpiece by Shaykh Ahmad al-Marzuqi, serving as a vital foundational text for knowledge seekers worldwide.
Hadith
Book: Al-Arba’in al-Nawawi
Al-Arba’in al-Nawawi offers a succinct yet profound compilation of 40 hadiths encompassing essential teachings of the Islamic creed, juridical methodologies, and the wisdom of the Messenger ﷺ.

Who is this program for?
This program is tailored for individuals who are seeking to learn or relearn the fundamental Islamic knowledge encompassing personal religious obligations (Fardhu ‘Ain) and communal responsibilities (Kifayah), within a circle of knowledge (halaqah). Participants should have successfully completed the ‘Halaqah Ta’lim Mingguan Marhala 1’ program, or its equivalent in another educational institution.

Assessment
Assessment is optional. Only those who opt for assessment may request for a transcript at the end of the program.
Eligibility to seat for exam: Attandance 80%
Mid Year Exam: 20%
Final Year Exam: 50%
Teacher’s Assessment: 30%

Entry Requirements
- Applicants should be 13 years of age or older.
- The desire to learn must come from the applicant himself/herself (ie. it is not due to the coercion of his parents or guardians).
- Applicants should have successfully completed either Halaqah Ta’lim Mingguan Marhala 1, or have completed comprehensive studies of Al-Risalah al-Kami’ah, Bidayah al-Hidayah, Durus Tauhid, and Ringkasan Nurul Yaqin under the guidance of teacher(s) at any educational institution.
Admission
Registration opens in the second quarter and last quarter of the year for July and January intake respectively.
