Course Outline
From time to time, it is useful to draw ourselves back to Islamic knowledge to reignite our God-consciousness (taqwa) and rejuvenate our spirit to live our lives as Muslims with conviction. This course, Essentials of the Deen, discusses foundational matters of belief which are obligatory for all Muslims to know. It was designed to re-introduce the tenets of faith to adult learners who may have lost touch with the Sacred Sciences; helping them to reconfigure their thought processes as God-conscious Muslims living in an inclusive, multi-religious society.
