Book: Aqidah Al-Awwam
Aqidah al-Awam offers a concise yet comprehensive immersion into ‘The Creed of the Common Muslim,’ a globally recognised poetic masterpiece by Shaykh Ahmad al-Marzuqi, serving as a vital foundational text for knowledge seekers worldwide.
Book: Durus at-Tauhid/Aqeedatul Islam
A foundational text on the creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah, authored by the martyr, Al-Habib Muhammad bin Salim bin Hadifh. This concise and illuminating work serves as an essential introduction to the core tenets of Islamic belief—Uluhiyyah (Divinity), Nubuwwah (Prophethood), and Sam’iyyat (Unseen Matters)—knowledge of which is an individual obligation (fardhu ‘ain) for every Muslim.
Book: Proofs of the Ahlussunnah Waljamaah

Qutuful Falihin is a collection of Hadith from Imam Nawawi’s Riyadhus Sholihin by Habib Umar bin Hafidz which acts as a heartfelt guide dedicated to nurturing the soul through the beautiful teachings of tazkiyyah (spiritual purification) and Islamic spirituality. It’s designed to help you deepen your connection with Allah ﷻ, refine your character, and bring more meaning to your daily life through faith and self-improvement.
Quranic Exegesis
Book: Tafsir al-Jalalain
The Exegesis of the Two Jalals; Jalāl al-Dīn al-Maḥallī and his student, Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī is renowned throughout the Muslim world. Widely accessible and written in a clear, straightforward style, it serves as an excellent introduction to the science of Tafsīr.

Book: Riyadhatus Sibyan
This classic text by the renowned jurist, Imam al-Ramlī, addresses the upbringing of children in Islam. It explores the various stages of a child’s development, offering guidance on proper nurturing and the essential qualities to instill in them, ensuring they grow into proper Muslims.
Book: Complete Summons and General Reminder
This book explains about the call to Allah (swt), to His religion, and the paths leading to Him, the commands related to it, its virtues, and the encouragement towards it.

Through this manual, you will learn the proper places of articulating Arabic letters, their characteristics, and other rulings related to Quranic recitation.

A foundational and accessible primer on Arabic grammar, designed for absolute beginners by the revered Imam, al-Habib Umar bin Muhammad bin Salim bin Hafidz—may Allah (SWT) preserve him.

Al-Ajrumiyyah lays out the fundamental building blocks of Arabic grammar, paving the way for a strong linguistic foundation.

Book: Durus Seerah Nabawiyyah
This seminal text chronicles the biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), detailing pivotal events from his life that every Muslim should know. Serving as an introductory resource, it is often among the first texts studied by those beginning their journey into Islamic history and Prophetic tradition.

A curated compilation of biographies detailing the lives of our righteous predecessors (salaf), meticulously assembled by the esteemed teachers of Dar al-Mustafa. Memorisation
Book: Juz 29, 30 and the virtuous chapters
It is essential for a Muslim to never let their heart be devoid of the Words of Allah (SWT), so that it may be illuminated and guided by them. Memorizing these Surahs aids in this pursuit and also equips a Muslim with the essential chapters to keep them spiritually engaged throughout their day,as recommended by the Sunnah.

Assessment
Students choosing to take the examination must meet the following criteria:
- Maintain an 80% attendance rate to qualify for the exam.
- Complete assessments that include participation, memorization (40% of the total grade), and written tests (60% of the total grade), supplemented by instructors’ holistic evaluations.

Progression Opportunities
Graduates who excel in their course of study may progress to full-time studies in Tarim* or in local institutions*.
*Subject to acceptance by respective institutions
Entry Requirements
- Applicants should be 13 years of age or older.
- The desire to learn must come from the applicant himself/herself (ie. it is not due to the coercion of his parents or guardians).
- Participants must possess basic reading skills in the Quran; those who are not yet fluent are required to attend Quranic classes
- Must be proficient/fluent/understand Arabic language
- Uphold qualities of discipline, punctuality, and good conduct.
- A deposit of $500 is required to serve as a guarantor of a 2-year commitment

Placement Test
On the first day of class, there will be a placement test to assess your knowledge and skills to determine whether you should start in Year 1, or if you’re ready to advance directly to Year 2. This way, you’ll be in a class that matches your level.
